Dave Brossart is a good man. He has at least one great coach that would follow him from last year at Cov Cath.

 

Which coach would go with him?

IMO the only 2 assistants from his staff last year that I would classify as close to 'great', and that I would like to see stay on at CovCath are Boyd and Bosse.

Boyd is a real good coach. Any team that has him on thier staff is a lucky team.

Rice had his on thursday. Ive heard they may wait til early April before a decision gets made.

I think Brossart would fit well at Newport but Nick Rice likely would fit better. Nick is a Newport boy and will ignite some enthusiasm in the community which is sorely needed. I think he will be a very good disciplinarian as well.

Was just informed by more than a reliable source that the candidiates will be informed of the final decision Wednesday. I guess we can assume that the announcement will be shortly after.

I agree with you on Nick. I also think Nick will be a good one to stick with the program and give it some consistency which is what they boys need.

Looks like the decision has been made per Mike Ernst's blog. Reliable source or do we have a leak in the plumbing? :confused:
