Big Day for UC Football Tomorrow

Can't let the cat out of the bag yet, but at least two and up to as many as six 2010 recruits will be in the fold after the JR Day tomorrow. I'll pass the names along once I can. One has a last name very familiar to those in NKY... :popcorn:

He's 2009. None of what I expect is from NKY tomorrow. It does include some of the best Ohio has to offer for 2010 and a name I have to assume is related to a NKY hoops great. The two I know are lock were getting some big time interest, and go to a school UC has had a tough time recruiting to date...

Lakota West teammates TE Alex Smith and OT Kevin Schloemer gave verbal commitments to the Bearcats today. Smith is rated a top 10 player in Ohio for 2010 and Schloemer is a top 25 kid in the state. That takes the class up to 4, and with Smith on board the flood gates could open here in the near future...

They also get what seems to be the final visit from Rivals 250 QB Joe Boisture on Monday. If he picks the Cats, look out...

Nice pick up on Smith, Gametime. I don't know the exact reasoning why OSU never offered. I have heard a lil discussion they still might make a late push but I think UC will stick. Sounds like it was down to UC/UK with offers.

I always got the feeling from Smith he would end up at UC. Thinking that might be part of the reason OSU slow played him. I really thought he was close to pulling the trigger when I talked to him before the Cuse game to end the FB season. Also hearing the QB Brown from Winton Woods joined the fold as well as an ATH. Lock up Boisture next week and BK is off to an insane start on the 2010 class...

Looks like UC will have a solid class in 2010 GT! I hope they don't take all those recruits from Northern Kentucky, I would like to see UK get a couple...
