Wonder if they've thought of taxing lottery tickets and bingo halls? Let's all call our reps/sen and recommend it.

I know that, but since the current trend seems to be to tax and spend, couldn't we tax the tax; so, the government would have more money. More is better????

Depends on what the definition of "tax" is. The lottery is voluntary. If you write a letter to the Bureau of Public Debt to help pay it down, is that a tax?
