Wow. This just proves that anyone can win this region. Everyone should get their Rupp tickets ready.

This was LC's 5th game in 7 days, and it really showed. It is hard to prepare for a team as good as SW, a night after playing a battle against Garrard County. The boys exerted a lot of energy last night.

 

I think you are right in taking this Southwestern win with a grain of salt. The Warriors likely are playing the best ball in the region right now, and they caught Lincoln at a really good time. That game between Garrard and Lincoln was one of the hardest fought games I've seen in a while. Both sides were drained when it was over - you could see it on all of their faces.

 

Lincoln then had to turn around and play a solid team and they couldn't respond. Garrard got to play a much weaker team than Southwestern in Rockcastle County and they were able to get an easy win. I'm guessing that if the opponent had been reversed, the Pats likely knock off Rockcastle County tonight, just like Garrard did.

 

But that's no fault of Southwestern. They are doing everything right at just the right time. They'll be a tough out in either the district or region.

WOW,I did not think this would happen to LC. This just shows that the 12th is up for grabs.

Big win for Southwestern. We looked and played tired. I know thats not a excuse for losing, but we win this game 9 out of 10 times.
