February 14, 200917 yr He didn't go after the referee. He made disparaging comments to him on his way out of the locker room and to the exit. It was inappropriate and probably was better that he was escorted to the door just to avoid embarrassment and further confrontation. From what I saw in the 8th grade game from the same referees they certainly didnt deserve a handshake after the game. I wasn't at the game so I can not comment. Do you think, as a coach to middle school children, he was setting a good example for the kids on how to handle adversity?

No, I think we can all agree that this not the example we would like to set for our kids. I'm sure coach would like to erase this from the season. I try not to harp on officiating since I have done several games in the past and know it is a thankless job. My question is this, is it that hard to find 2 guys that will at least run the floor and share the duties of calling the game. When 1 official does all the work it can only make for problems.

Have you ever done something you regretted? Case closed. In the heat of the moment he felt his kids were cheated. Let it go. Glad your little bro had a nice game.

Sorry to upset you. FWIW I have no idea who the coach is or what kind of a person is. I'm sure he just messed up.

Im far from upset, didnt mean for my post to come across that way. I just think it got a little blown out of porportion.
