UC is contracted to play one game a year there, and since they dropped Miami they had to pick another one. The Miss St game didn't count because it was part of the SEC/Big East event. Hate it and hope it goes away soon.

 

Huge, huge, huge game for Larry who has been in a big slump lately. Career high 21 points and did a great job on McAlarney. Now go steal one in DC Saturday and it gets interesting...

 

It's not that much of a steal Saturday. They won't be expected to win, but it is very possible. They have to get a couple on the road to go dancing IMO. If that's fair or not is another debate. The Providence home loss could haunt them in the end. All in all another good effort and a nice win for UC.

GT, how many more wins would you say UC needs to go dancing in March?

I would think they would get in with a 9-9 record and a win in the BEast Tourney. 20-13 with their record would be good enough, IMO...

Very true. It may not be fair, but road wins hold some more weight, especially in the major conferences. The Providence loss could hurt them, but they're (Providence) playing pretty well right now.
