Longest Streak of District Titles

Featured Replies

I started this thread under a different name and it somewhat fizzled so I renamed it. Is there a school in the state that has longer winning steak for district titles than Madsion Central does in the weak 44th district? They have 15 in a row, if I am not mistaken.

Mason County has right around 8 I think.

15 in a row is quite impressive.

^ Is it? They essentially have to beat one other team most years (Madison Southern). To their credit, they have done that, but that district is awful.

If the districts stay the same for the 39th I really dont know when they will lose it. They could have a pretty impressive streak going by the time it ends.

When you have 3 1A schools I agree you won't see a different champion.

The last time Mason lost the District Final was in 2000 to St. Pat's I think.

Gallatin has 3 straight. Its not 15 or 8 but impressive for an "A" school.

Henderson County has won the 6th District since 2001. Granted, it is a three team district.
