February 1, 200917 yr Many great choices are already taken. Slowride, Feel Like Making Love, and Iron Man were all anthems. I would add Hot Blooded by Foreigner and the song thats seems to span generations, Radar Love. Hard to believe it was from Golden Earring.:lol:
February 1, 200917 yr Is it just the whole Southern Rock thing, or them in particular? Just me: Allman Brothers - love 'em Atlanta Rhythm Section - like 'em a lot. Always liked the "Tara's Theme" intro on the live album Skynyrd - could always take 'em or leave 'em Marshall Tucker Band - liked 'em a lot; saw them play at Morehead back in the day The rest (Wet Willie, Black Oak Arkansas, Molly Hatchet, etc.) - not a blip on papa's radar screen.
