ryanparker
That's great. They were definitely great players for Raceland! Is Denton going to play in college? He should.
Ram
That's great. They were definitely great players for Raceland! Is Denton going to play in college? He should. He has had numerous college contacts and some offers, but he is still undecided if he wants to play college football. I guess we will have to wait and see what he decides. Bret Denton will be a sucsess no matter what area that he decides to go into, he is a super kid from a great family that has his priorities straight. I personally would love to see him play, there is no doubt in my mind that he could and be very sucsessful but that is a decision for him and his family to make and I certainly respect whatever is decided. recpark
I would have loved to see Logan wearing the Blue and White at Commonwealth and the lord knows I pushed him at the top levels but I am very happy to see him going to Georgetown, great facilities and an awesome administration, that is a great match for both of them. Young Gun
congrats to these two fine men. I played a two years with these two, and proud say they are my friends. John Scott imo was the best player pound-for-pound on the Raceland football team the last few years, he is a great player and even better young man. Robby Logan, what can you say, his nickname says it all... the "Beast". Ive been around alot of hard working football players, but Robby probably has one of the best work out mentalitys ive ever seen. If you have ever seen this kid in the weight room, you know what im talking about. He's been starting on the O-line at Raceland since he was a freshman and while playing DL he kept many of offensive lineman off me at linebacker. Congrats to these two once again, couldnt have happened to two better men.

sidelinedoc
That's great. They were definitely great players for Raceland! Is Denton going to play in college? He should. He is going to ACTC for 2 years and then to EKU to finish his pre-med degree and then plans to enter Chiropractic college. I am taking him for a school visit in about 6 weeks. flyin'intheflag
What happened to Logan and his recruitment to Eastern Kentucky University? I thought he would sign with the EKU. Didn't he take a visit to Richmond this weekend? If Georgetown is getting Logan...they are definitely getting someone who should be playing at a higher level. But Georgetown has a history of getting players like that. Good luck to both.

Logan did visit EKU, and several D1, D2, and NAIA schools, I don't what influenced his decision, but I do know that he was very impressed with Georgetown. Georgetown getting him is a big plus for Georgetown, in my opinion, they took a D1 recruit from some D1 schools and hopefully he will be a big impact for Georgetown. I look for him to play pretty early.
