oldrambler
Logan did visit EKU, and several D1, D2, and NAIA schools, I don't what influenced his decision, but I do know that he was very impressed with Georgetown. Georgetown getting him is a big plus for Georgetown, in my opinion, they took a D1 recruit from some D1 schools and hopefully he will be a big impact for Georgetown. I look for him to play pretty early. :thumb: I think that both Logan and Carver made a great decision. I just don't get how some can think that NAIA schools are somewhat of a put down. G-Town along with others is a GREAT academic school and after all that is what it is all about. As for football, the G-Town program is great, a consistent playoff contender and I believe owner of three National Titles! As for Carver, I know through a very good source that the academics, pre med and pharmasutical program that he is going into was a if not THE deciding factor. ryanparker
He is going to ACTC for 2 years and then to EKU to finish his pre-med degree and then plans to enter Chiropractic college. I am taking him for a school visit in about 6 weeks. That's great...and I agree with Old Rambler in that there isn't any shame in playing a lower level of college football. The fact is that it should be all about the education anyway...and if the players are good enough to get that paid for, then all the better! We don't have too many NFL players coming through our area anyway, so whether it's D-1, D-2, NAIA...it's all the same in 4 years when they have that degree in their hand and go out into the "real world". :-)
