BUT when you are practicing/playing football Aug. - Nov. you can't gain 20 productive pounds. Now, from Nov. - July it's very possible to gain 20lbs.

He had a nice run but it was the only td for trinity, he also had 3 or 4 interceptions and they lost. That's is why people question his ability to lead the varsity.

 

 

This was the only play i metioned, and said that if he could do this consistently then he will be a factor...but when all else fails throw it up to Kirch!

Petrino is 170 an maybe more. He lifts everyday and he didnt weigh 155 during football season. He was around 160-165.

I hope he does start at QB for trinity.

In the X JV game nick had about a 20-25 yard scramble where he broke about 13 tackles (no joke) ....

 

Must have been some great hustle by the X defense, for somebody to miss multiple tackles on one play.

All of the programs I follow require the QB to work just as hard as anybody else. At least if they want to be successful!

I hope he does as well. Any kid who has a thread started about him questioning whether he can do the job will probably have that much more motivation to perform and be even better off! Often times coaches sons catch more grief, but sometimes, they have a more complete understanding of the game than many others at their age. I hope that he tears it up in 2005! :thumb:

AND 2006. Well, that is if he stays at Trinity.
