I'm a little surprised Covcath lost this one. I know they have players out but they beat Central by around 20 in the preseason.

Cov Cath is not playing well this season and unfortunately, their looking at a first round District game against Covington Holmes at Holy Cross.

It has to be a disppointment in Park Hills. It's even more disappointing to see the perennial fan base turn their backs on the boys.

I've noticed a drastic lack of attendance at the 4 or 5 games I've made. In the past, it seems the gym sold out no matter whom the opponant was.

Bad season for CCH, I am not suprised that they lost this season no matter who they play. I have seen them twice vs. Highlands as NKU and vs. Holmes they dont impress me or even show me upside this season at all.

Actually they had the chance to tie this game up with 35 seconds left, and some poor coaching and some poor decision making by a coulple of players basically blew that chance. Good game until that. They were also doing great with their inside game in the first half, and then totally and completely went away from it in the second half. Those that I talked to were most upset with those two points.

 

Really liked Central's coaching. They were very enthusiastic and involved with the boys.
