Giants might have interest in Ocho Cinco at right price — maybe

I love how people bash T.O. and want CJ. It really makes me laugh! They are both all about themselves. With that being said no way I deal him for a 4th rounder! You can't sell me that somebody like Philly or Tenn (although they care about chemistry I think) wouldn't be really tempted too deal something like a 2nd rounder for him. That would automatically make thier team so much more explosive! You would have to be an idiot to deal him for a 4th rounder IMO. That makes a lot of sense for the Bengals to do though especially when they passed up 1st rounders! Calling Washington come in Washington!

San Fran, Seattle, St Louis, Philly, Wah, Tenn, Balt, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Minn, Miami, Jacks etc etc There are a lot of teams out there that need WR help pretty bad. NO WAY I would settle on a 4th.

I've never seen Chad Johnson do to a team what TO has done. TO has far worse IMO. Do I really really really want the Giants to get Chad? Not really...

But I wouldn't mind them giving up a 3rd or 4th rounder for him. They need a WR...especially if Plax is out next year.

What teams don't care about chemistry?

Other than the obvious ones like Dallas and Washington (who will take any player, no matter what )...

So you think bringing Chad Johnson in is going to help your team chemistry:lol: Hello blinders!

You obviously haven't watched the Bengals any then. He has been GREAT for the chemistry around there! At least T.O. led his team to the Super Bowl.

They both are really talented but irk me to know end with their me first attitudes!

Did I say that? If I did, please quote it.

You won't be able to do that, because I didn't say it.

I honestly have faith that the Giants people (Coughlin, Reese, etc) know what they are doing. If they think the Giants can take CJ and not worry about him hurting their chemistry, I trust they would know better than you or I.

They probably won't get him anyways...this is just a rumor.

Didn't TO sit out the playoffs the year that the Eagles went to the super bowl?

The one game he played during that playoff run...they lost.

Here you got smart about Dallas and Washington saying they don't care about team chemistry. Either you haven't watched Cincy or football to know CJ has been awful for their team chemistry or you are putting the Giants in the same category of selling out on a troubled player feeling like they can make him work. I can see why though they have rolled the dice on guys like Plax+Bradshaw. One worked one didn't.

What would it be like if the Giants get CJ and Plax makes it back?

Very talented and about like when Eli had Plax + Shockey (he had the talent but struggled with the attitudes).

You must have missed off season last year. Chad went out of his way to get in front of every mic to denounce the Bengals, and state he was not coming back. Chad has been a cancer ont this team since halftime in the 05 playoff game. But , you think Cheddar is an upstanding young man, so what the hay, take Chad. Have fun:lol::lol::lol: Oh, if he plays for the GMen remember, it's Ocho Cinco.:lol::lol:

Huh?

Dallas and Washington obviously don't care about "team chemistry".

Considering Dallas has taken in TO, Pacman, Tank Johnson recently and numerous other thugs in the past.

Washington has signed anyone and everyone that they can afford.

I have watched Cincinnati. And I know have watched them enough to know that Chad Johnson (in my opinion) has never been as big of a problem as TO has been in his NFL career. TO has a long list of stupid things he has done. Chad Johnsons list isn't nearly as long.

I wouldn't have considered the Giants to be "rolling the dice" when they signed Plaxico. Sure, he had some problems in Pittsburgh but once again, he wasn't a TO at the time.

Bradshaw had one problem in college, he hasn't been a problem at all in the NFL.

And I'd say both Bradshaw and Plax worked out, considering they both helped the Giants win a super bowl. :thumb:

Didn't miss it, just didn't think it was nearly as bad as TO's antics in San Francisco, Baltimore (for the brief time he was traded there ), Philadelphia and Dallas. Is that okay...for me to have my own opinion?

Chad has probably been frustrated with being on a terrible team. I don't remember him being all that bad when they were winning. As a matter of fact, everyone loved him, didn't they? Funny how fast fans in Cincy turn on someone .

And I'm not sure where I ever said anything about Plax being an upstanding young man. Care to find a quote?

And you know this how? You hang with Eli?
