Well Randy you do know that some people have actually been put to death and were innocent of the crime. So if you execute someone who is totally innocent of a crime then that is an abortion in a sense isn't it. I mean a totally innocent life has been taken for no reason. You can't say that hasn't happened so what do you call it.

 

Now for you never voting because of someone's race you have mentioned two African-Americans here. Are you mentioning them because they are African-American or because they are African-American republicans? You know how a person can say I am not a racists and then tells how many friends of a different race they have.

 

Well, I thought I stated that I would not be opposed to the banning of Capital Punishment. Inherently, I would be for it, in cases where it's obvious who is guilty. But the punishment must come quickly for it to act as a deterrent.

 

I would turn the tables of that argument and tell you that EVERY abortion takes an innocent life, which is why I am opposed to it.

 

I mentioned the African Americans because it was inferred that I did not vote for Obama based on his skin color, which is a ridiculous claim. While I live in a community that is 95% white (if not more), I maintain great relationships with a number of African Americans. One of my two or three best friends during my college days was an African American.

 

My reference of Steele & Watts were for two reasons: 1. They are African American politicians with some degree of name recognition that I would vote for tomorrow, refuting the idea that my vote had a racial element to it. 2. They are pro-life.

 

Red, yellow, black, or white...male or female...you won't get my vote if you're pro-abortion. I have voted for Democrats before, but they were pro-life (and pretty much all of them at a more local level, since pro-life Democrats don't typically rise to higher offices nationally). And there have been Republicans running for office that did not get my vote b/c of their abortion stance.

 

Obama's reversal of the overseas abortion tax-support was the reason I started this thread. He had courted religious voters by talking about his desire to reduce abortions, and yet he does just the opposite in this decision.

Put it in the mail, and send it. Then forward this e-mail to every one of your friends who you think would send one, too. I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died before having a chance to live. Maybe it will change the heart of the president.
