January 18, 200917 yr Haven't seen him play that much. But if he has hands he can be a Reggie Bush and have a good career.
January 20, 200917 yr Haven't seen him play that much. But if he has hands he can be a Reggie Bush and have a good career. Those types of guys can have a huge impact because they can make a big play any time they touch it. They're not going to be a grind-it-out type, but how many games in the NFL are decided by a huge play or two? Not to mention the pressure they put on opposing defenses...they have to be schemed against and identified any time they're on the field. It opens things up for the rest of the team. We're starting to see more players in this mold...and it's only a matter of time before the NFL coaches figure out how to use these guys to get the most out of them.
January 20, 200917 yr I think he's too small to be anything but a KR/PR in the pros. I have no idea how tall Harvin is (I'd guess around 6') but he's not small. Short, maybe. The guy is lightning quick and explosive.
January 20, 200917 yr Give me an example of big. Bush at New Orleans has resulted in the post season his first year and nothing the last 2. How about Devin Hester?
January 20, 200917 yr I think he's too small to be anything but a KR/PR in the pros. I remember the same thing being said about Hines Ward. Needless to say, those prognosticators were wrong.
January 20, 200917 yr I think he's too small to be anything but a KR/PR in the pros. Don't tell Steve Smith that.
January 20, 200917 yr I think he's too small to be anything but a KR/PR in the pros. He's got speed and quickness. Not to mention that fact that he's strong as an ox, dude benches like 400 lbs. I'm sure he'll be fine if he can stay healthy.
January 22, 200917 yr The to small agrument is not a good one, Steve Smith, Devin Hester, Derrick Mason, all are not that big and I doubt many of them throw up more the 400lbs on the bench press, but still are pretty good players and playmakers. Sixe is only a problem when you play small.
