Thanks, Ram. I wasn't aware that they moved the 7th graders into the off season program, too.

It's new this semester. There are some in 7th period. Seems to be working really well. I know one 7th grader that comes home pretty tired every evening.

I have heard that Wurtland Middle School was getting a donation of around $20,000 worth of equipment from Bellefonte Hospital toward the football program. Also the old equipment from the high school is post to be split in half with both middle schools. I hope they can start a junior high weightlifting program. It would really help when they get into high school.

The Raceland Show of Strength Meet is February 28. I believe there are 10 teams committed to be there.

I'M THERE! Is GC going to be there? What lift's do they do? (Bench, Clean, Squat, Deadlift)

The teams that I know have committed are: Russell, West Carter, Lawrence County, Green (OH), and Lewis County. I would expect Greenup County, East Carter, and Coal Grove to be there as well.

 

Last year we did Bench, Clean, and Dead lift.

Did alright had some players place in all weight classes. Team placed 3rd missed 2nd by few lbs. I believe.
