Mom, I was number 55 in high school, you can come and be my adoptive mother if you want. We would love to have you for any game that you wish to come to. Contrary to some people's beliefs, we do wish Greenup County the best, and hope they get the coach they need.

Don't forget Marcus Reed. He is a freshman who is very talented and been to many passing camps. He always rated as a top 10 passer for his age group.

Tyler Farley is going to be a stud. The other to should be wideouts and they will do great things as well. The Fairview playoff game when he came in was awesome.

I like the schedule for Rams and I expect Raceland to be good even with the lose of talent form last season.

I have to agree with you Blackshirt, Raceland has a lot of talent returning next year. With many games put away in the third quarter this past year, next years starters got a lot of quality playing time, and I liked what I saw. These players just need some more experience, and I think that is what the coaching staff was thinking with this schedule. The 2009 Raceland team should be in good shape come district and playoff play.

I agree Ram, the Raceland Jr. varsity last season went 8-1 with the lone loss coming to Russell's jv by a FG. The 2009 edition of the Rams may not have the same kind of rercord but the expectations do not cange. This will be another good football team in Ramland.

Sorry Oldrambler, it is only January. However, to answer questions about next years expectations. I do not really care what record we have in non-district games. I know that we'll have the talent to win and go deep in the playoffs. Remember 2006 and the 11-1 Rams getting beat by a 7-5 Newport Central Catholic team? They were a 3 or 4 seed in their district, but they had a goal and they realized it. The better the competition and the higher the class we play throughout the year sets us up to play better in week 3 of the playoffs when we play LCA, again.

Looks like a pretty tough schedule for Raceland. It looks like they have a lot of their rivals on schedule as well. It is good to see this. I know tha Raceland went 12-0 last season before getting beat by LCA. I know that Ashland, Boyd and LCA will be tough matchups for the Rams but I believe they will be up to the challenge.

I think a transfer from GC will be a little better than both.

He is good at handing off the ball and dumping short but what will he do if he needs to go long ? Defenses will pick up on that quick. He really needs work when it comes to getting pressured too. IMO.
