I predicted this in the LC GRC matchup thread. Lex Cath has better guards than GRC hands down!!!!!!!

 

They have a better guard. I would take Stenzel and Hatton over any LexCath guard other than Sanford. Beckham in the long run is going to be really good as well.

I think Botkin is under rated. He is very strong, and is a smart, experienced player.

I definitely wouldn't take Hatton over Botkin.

Have to disagree. Botkin has repeatedly over the years been better than Hatton. It has been proven time and time again over the years from middle school to present.

 

Botkin is a very good defender and point guard, at this point he is stronger and tougher than Stenzil.

It seems that some love to put Clark's team ratings and players down. I could get on here and compare every player in the state or every team aganist one another but what good would it do. All I would do is hurt someone's feelings . I'd just be shooting the bull.

If you watched the game last night thre is no way IMO you would say Botkin is better than Stenzel. Botkin plays hard and does some little things, but Stenzel scores, rebounds, handles the ball, etc as well. I can see an argument over Hatton, but Hatton IMO is a much better scorer. He wen out in the 3rd qtr last night and never really got things going though. Botkin does do the little things better than Botkin. But Stenzel is the better player.

In the next two years Stenzil will be a much better player than he is now because he will mature physically and add strength. That might be scary.

Not true. GRC had 2 of the top 3 guards on the floor last night, no question about it.

Wow...I'm very surprised by this score. I thought GRC would win and it sounds like Lexcath took care of business in their home tournament.

 

St X gave LC a better game than did GRC>

St.X held Sanford to single digit scoring in the semis.

Help man and some zone was used to contain him.GRC has more athletic personnel and seems as if they employed similar strategy,Sanford would not have had 31 points.

 

Too much AAU type of ball , not team ball.

Well said d-dawg. For the most part the majority of these players are very talented. Saying this player is better than this player well there's no need for it. These kids come out and give there all and one may have a better game than the other on that giving night but that does'nt make that player any better than the rest. And besides and I'm for sure you'll agree with me on this one and that is that it's about the team not the individual. It takes a team to win no matter how good a certain player may be. That's the way I see it.:thumb:
