Covcath 44 Campbell Co 35

Featured Replies

I'll take 44 and a win, versus 65 and a loss :irked:

Right, but does it make you think because they beat Campbell County that they've all of a sudden solved all their problems and are turning the corner. They still obviously don't have an offense. Campbell County doesn't have one either.

Absolutely not, but they beat a team that was 6-0, regardless of the record, it's a quality win for the CCH team. They had to get the first one someplace, and for the boys, this is a solid win, take nothing away from it. One win can be built upon. 0-7 woulnd't have hleped.

Lol OK.. I don't even think we are discussing the same point anymore.

^ I still think that CCHS being over ranked was taking a shot at the victory that CCH got.

Take it how you want. It's no secret CCH isn't very good this year. They are still better than the Camels. You can't be too excited as a CovCath fan when they only scored 44 points.

Last time I checked a W is a W.

Just because a team only scores 44 points doesn't mean anything. Campbell Co only scored 35 and came in averaging 59 ppg. To discredit either team for not scoring much takes away from the good defense that both played.

Right... No upset. Just typical Campbell County being overrated.

Great utilization of the box in one. Campbell was inept on the offensive end. As for being overrated, I haven't seen a ton of touts about them being so dominant.

It was a very solid win for CCH

:thumb: Which they both do extremely well.

I'm not saying it's not. I think it was a win that they should have had and they did. It's not a bad thing to say they are a better team than the Camels. I'm not saying they got lucky, or anything of that nature. They are better than Campbell County and they should have beat them.

Your not seeing my point. This is what CovCath was supposed to do and they did it. That's fine it's a good thing. However, I don't think they are a different team and are going to set the world on fire now. My whole point is it's not an upset neither team is that great. If CCH would have came out and absolutely lit it up and won 66-35 then OK I'd see a reason to think that it was unexpected.

:thumb: I agree, I felt coming in, as did others, that CCH was the better team despite the records. I'm happy for CCH. I also think this will be a good learning experience for the Camels and Coach Code to force them to find a way to counter the pressure that CCH put on them. I think that every team that the Camels face, they will see solid pressure D, and not allow the Camels to get open shots (hmmm, well I guess that is what every HS D is supposed to do :D)

They still have a lot to improve upon, but this team is still not firing on all chambers. This is the game they need to get them started.

Listerman took Nerl away from the get go with the box in one. Their offense seemed out of sync from that point. CovCath is really struggling but got a big win.

It wasn't the pressure defense. It was a gimmick defense the entire game. I sat in the stands and watched the diamond and box in one.

Good win for CC and the 9th. Congrats to the Blue Colonels on their first win.

With a box & 1, the Camels still could not get the ball inside? That's pretty bad. Albrecht is capable of carrying this team, how did CCH keep him from getting the ball?
