Sandman, it is possible to miss the front end of the bonus 5 times in the last 4 minutes as JOAT stated. He did not say they missed the front end of the 1+1 bonus. After 10 fouls it is still called the bonus. Some refer to it as a double bonus. The point is the Birds missed 5 free throws and gave up the opportunity for 3 more chances.

 

All refer to it that way, as it's what it is called.

 

The bonus is just that, one foul shot and a bonus shot if the first is made. You can only shoot three of them in a half, maximum.
