Oh there is no doubt, she will be the focus of any team from a defense and she will stumble as the season goes against good and bad teams. As you said, just an eight grader. That would be a good game to see as SK has a tough defense.

Her older sister (Rachel) is indeed very good. She has been hampered with a knee injury early on and may not be able to continue this season. Lets hope she does. She has a scholly already so hope is she will get her knee healthy and have a great senior year.

I'm happy for the young lady, but is this much attention from the colleges this early really a good thing?

 

Next thing you know, there will be college scouts at elementary school intramural games...

I have been to every single Owensboro Catholic girls game this year and she is the REAL DEAL! She made a blind pass in the South Spencer (Indiana) game that most players do not make in their career. The cool thing is she has even a better attitude. She works hard and listens to her coaches. Her dream is to play at Tennessee. I think she will! Tennessee's associate head coach was scouting her at the DCHS game this past week. GO BECCA!

It is very unfortunate that Rachel Greenwell is out for the season. She will soon go for surgery and be out about a year. Bellarmine knows and just wants her to take her time and recover. It has got to be miserable sitting on the sidelines and watching your entire senior year when your team is good enough to make it to Diddle!
