Final from the 10th region.

Good start by the Mustangs... I hear Joe Webb had a Joe Webb night. Kid can straight fill it.

Onto the Camels, biggest game of tbe year...

No surprise here. PC has really stuggled early and are very young this year if I'm not mistaken.

It was all Brossart in the home opener last night as Joey Webb had his shooting shoes on, lighting up the Pendleton County Wildcats five times from beyond the arc to lead all scorers with 15 points.

In the first quarter Webb, Justin Morscher, and Jordan Armstrong all connected from beyond the arc, while Jacob Rieger tacked on three from in-close as the Mustangs blew out to a 16-4 first quarter lead and never looked back. By halftime the Stangs had opened up a 20 point lead at 37-17, outscoring the Cats 21-13 in the second frame as Webb recorded 3-point goals number two and three, and would spark another 20 point quarter in the third period with long-ball four and five.

Drew Kremer, Brian Wolfer, Justin Morscher, and Jacob Rieger all came up big again on the scoreboard, combining for 38 points.

Unfortunately the quality of play deteriorated badly in the second half due to a condensation issue on the playing surface.

BB: Patterson 0-1-2/2-5

Armstrong 0-1-1/2-4

Webb 0-5-0/0-15

Morscher 0-2-3/4- 9

Kremer 5-0-0/0-10

Norton 1-0-0/0-2

Dierig 0-0-1/2-1

Schultz 0-0-2/2-2

Rieger 4-0-1/3-9

Wolfer 2-0-6/7-10

PC: Walsh 2, L.Florence 8, Moeves 13, Farrell 2, Jones 2, Monroe 6,

Cooper 8, Greene 3

looks like pendletonand bracken are both going to struggle this year.

Good win for BB! Floor conditions were very slick. Nice to finsih the game without any injury.

Nice to see Wolfer in double digits... Hopefully he steps up against CCHS this weekend.
