December 10, 200817 yr Sorry, I don't see Colt McCoy as anywhere near a first round NFL draft pick. He has little or no chance to turn professional, in my opinion. Tim Tebow is an intriguing prospect as a quarterback in the NFL. He certainly has great intangibles, but needs lots of work on his passing fundamentals. Not helping his NFL stock is the fact that Florida runs a spread and not a pro attack. If he declared for the NFL draft after this season, I do not see him as a sure shot, first round selection.
December 10, 200817 yr These spread offenses don't translate to the pro game, Tebow would not get drafted until maybe 4th round, McCoy a little higher. I don't blame them both for staying. By the way, was anyone else listening to Scott Van Pelt interview McCoy on ESPN radio yesterday? He ask him about not playing last Saturday and what he did and Colt said he went spotlighting and then caught himself and said they shot at varmints (sp.).
December 10, 200817 yr I would love to see Tebow back, but if he wins the Heisman and FL wins the title, he can't come back. I think there will be so much pressure put on him to take the money, he will likely succumb. I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see him in a Gator uni next year.Maybe. Maybe not. http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=168875
December 10, 200817 yr If it was me I go pro you had an outstanding year. There is always that chance that he could get hurt next year. I would go to the NFL.
