This at GC or Anderson? Any stats? How did Maddox and Penny play?

The game was at Gallatin.

I didn't expect the score to be this bad. Any recap?

I guess we will have to wait for some of the faithful to get home and tell us about the game. I could not make this one tonight so I do not have the details. I know there was a college game right after, so I imagine many Gallatin fans stayed to watch that.

GC came within 2 points in the 3rd quarter I think and stay within 10 points or so until the last quarter. I dont't have any stats but I know our GC boys were pretty worn down the last 4 minutes or so of the game. The final score really doesn't reflect the game as a whole.

Anderson led 30-21 at halftime. Gallatin chipped away to get within 43-41 with a minute left in the third, but got got careless with the ball and the Bearcats scored the final 6 of the quarter to lead 49-41.

Anderson then opened the 4th with a 7-1 to lead 56-42. Gallatin never threatened after that. Anderson's size took over and they scored at will inside in the final 4 minutes.

Penny scored 27. Russell also had a good game. Maddox had 11. Zac Jones led the Cats with 22. All in all Gallatin played pretty well but Anderson's size and experience were too much.

Looked like the Cats just ran out of gas toward the end.

Russell had a triple double and again Penny had a good game. Maddox did not look his usual self with around 11 points but Jones looked really good for Gallatin.

Great effort from the Wildcats against one of the top teams in the region.

I thought the most impressive thing of the night was Penny's defense. He shut Maddox completely out. Late in the game Anderson swithced him on Jones and shut him out. Penny played a complete game with 27 points 16 rebounds and great defense. I agree with the previous post Gallatin played well but just couldn't do anything with Anderson's size inside.
