One thing HC does have is depth. They run 10 guys in and out. Don't know which game you saw to make you think they have no depth!

Not trying to thread jack, but with or without Shover, Covcath will beat Holy Cross this year. I've seen both and HC just doesn't have the talent or size to beat Covcath. They have no answer for Covcath's bigs and no depth will hurt HC considering Covcath will play around 10 guys every game.

 

And Mason is simply a mismatch against Holy Cross. Their length and size will give HC fits. Expect them to get a lot of offensive boards and put backs with Barner and Pawsatt down low.

 

I guess we just have difference of opinions. I just think it's a bit early to be saying without a doubt that one is going to beat the other. NCC is ranked 6th in the region and HC beat them.

 

Anyways back to the thread it will be tough for HC to match up with Mason's height and athleticism but I think the game depends on one factor: Whether Holy Cross can make Mason play their type of game. If HC can keep the game in the 50's then they have a shot at winning, but if Mason scores more then that HC won't be able to hang with them.
