December 3, 200817 yr I like John Waite also but not my favorite. It used to help me out with the ladies though. LOL If I had to choose one I would say this. Yellow Ledbetter- Pearl Jam (preferably live) Great sounding song, but what are the words Eddie is singing? Look it up on youtube and watch some of the parodies, they are hilarious.
December 3, 200817 yr My favorite, rock "Disposable Hero's" Metallica. Country it is a tie, "He Stopped Loving Her Today" George Jones and "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" Waylon Jennings.
December 3, 200817 yr At first I thought I was reading a song list from VH1 "I love the 80's." And what a great song list that is!
December 3, 200817 yr Turn the Page - Bob Seger Man in the Box - Alice-n-Chains Down the Highway - Bachman-Turner Overdrive Flirting with Disaster - Molly Hatchet The Hand that Feeds - Nine Inch Nails Train Train - Blackfoot Rock-n-Roll Fantasy - Hot Chocolate There's something really "earth off kilter" about you listening to NIN. I had the fortune? misfortune? of seeing NIN with Marilyn Manson & The Jim Rose Circus. I mean, I love NIN, but Marilyn Manson completely offended me, and The Jim Rose Circus left me shaking my head. I never figured you for a NIN kind of guy. To a lesser degree, the Alice caused the world to tilt just slightly.
December 3, 200817 yr About what? You know how I feel about the Eagles. And, before your buddy gets here...I feel worse about Pink Floyd.
December 4, 200817 yr You know how I feel about the Eagles. And, before your buddy gets here...I feel worse about Pink Floyd. Still don't get laughing at someone's choice. I grew up listening to music by The Eagles and other similar bands. Desperado has a lot of meaning to me and it's been my favorite as long as I can remember.

December 4, 200817 yr If I were going to point to a favorite Petty tune, I can't imagine how anyone would go with anything but "American Girl." If not that one, it has to be "Jammin' Me." It just happens that Refugee was the song that made Petty my "official" favorite artist at that time and he has remained my favorite 29 years later.:thumb:

You just never know about me RM, when you least expect it, I surprise you.
December 4, 200817 yr My apologies. I didn't mean to offend. Seriously. :creepy:Well, as everyone knows, I don't get offended easily. For what you're all thinking right now....
