Great win to open season for the Lady Bears, did they have all of their players? seemed to be missing a few names? Find it hard to believe that the Royals have to go all the way down to the 7th grade for players though.

I totally agree, just hard to believe so many of the young girls are starting, you might find one in that age group that can start varsity, but what happened to the girls in grades 9-12? . That being said, did Bracken play any of their 7th-8th graders on JV because feel they could do the same thing and play up some of the talent in those grades. You should always play your best ball players no matter what age or grade but sometimes politics gets in the way.

I didn't go to the game but listened. Could the junior Beth Queen be a starter from this age group?

Unless I missed one somewhere, it was February 17, 1992. Bracken co. won 59-56 in Maysville.
