December 1, 200817 yr Well folks... My son caught a virus at daycare last week and was up all night Thursday night throwing up, etc. My wife was laid up all day Saturday. My little girl had a rough night last night and this morning. And now...I am starting to feel a deep rumbling pain in my stomach this morning. I fear for my near future. Anyone else absolutely HATE a stomach virus or is it just me? :fight::mad::madman:
December 1, 200817 yr Author The thing that sucks is that I'm not totally sick but I have no doubt whatsoever that its coming soon.
December 1, 200817 yr Oh No! I am so sorry. It is awful. My kids had it about a month ago, I got it for about a day but its miserable. Lots of sleep and fluids. Hang in there.
December 1, 200817 yr Author My first goal is to get through at least half a day of work. A full day would be nice, but I think that's going to be a difficult task.
December 1, 200817 yr Author Had it several weeks ago. Get to feeling better. So far, so good. I have managed to make it to 10:00 without any office disasters :thumb:
December 1, 200817 yr Had it a couple of weeks ago, and then again this weekend. No throwing up thankfully, but the fire down below was pretty bad. The worst part was the few hours just before everything actually broke free. The cramps and nausea and sweating, etc. were just terrible. Good luck Wireman.

I just talked to my wife and she says my daughter is throwing up every 15 minutes right now.

December 1, 200817 yr I just talked to my wife and she says my daughter is throwing up every 15 minutes right now. Sounds like it could be Roto-virus (look it up). Don't let her dehydrate, whatever you do. If she keeps it up and won't drink, go to the doctor. Learned this lesson the hard way a few years ago, waited too long and one of my little guys ended up in the hospital.
December 1, 200817 yr Author Yeah, my wife is trying to get her to drink Sprite right now. It'll be a miracle if I can hold everything in for another 1 1/2 of work.

I used watered down Gatorade, when my son was going through this as a youngster. Even a pop-sickle, or ice cubes. It's difficult, to see a child go through the heaves.
