Just because a defensive player is in the air, doesn't mean its a foul. If he has position, he owns from the floor straight up to the ceiling. Defensive guys can jump. Totally legal.

 

That being said, I thought it was a good no call.

I'm a fan of both teams ,and I agree. Another question I have is ,when a player is driving to the basket and releases the shot and makes it and then charges , should the goal count?

 

According to my good friend who is a referee, In high school if a player attemps and makes a shot before coming back to the floor and charges into a defensive player who is set. The basket it nullified and there is no freethrow attemps because of offensive team control:thumb:

After seeing what Corbin did to GRC, winning by 41 points, maybe EC isn't as good as some think and GRC is somewhat overrated?

Tyler Maynard is also gone from last years team and he was their sixth man off the bench. But back to the game, It's good to know that Coach Mayes is going to his bench more this year and getting the younger players some playing time.
