That being said, they have had a tremendous season and are to be commended for making a BCS Bowl.
November 23, 200817 yr Can they still make it to #1???? Yes, they have a game next week that will help a little with a victory over a 7 or 8 win team in FSU. Then they play potential undefeated number 1 Alabama. They win these two games then there atleast number 2 and play for the Natl' Championship

November 23, 200817 yr I understand the first of the year... Not sure if this game help Florida. To get better, you need to play better competition. They are not #1 or undefeated, so the gators can get better... True and they have got better. But they can afford a game like this with there schedule, and the fact they haven't had a bye since week 6 and won't till there bowl game. I think Urban Meyer knows what he is doing here. They got FSU next week.
November 23, 200817 yr Why schedule Citadel at this time of year... Weak! Who else could they schedule? They already Pretty much the whole SEC east. I know Citadel is weak but, there probaly isn't that many open dates this late in the season.

Not only that but, the Gators could even possibly rest with two huge games coming up back to back. I look for them to take care of business against "the team out west" to set up the big SEC championship game. Should be a battle!:fight:

They are not #1 or undefeated, so the gators can get better... It will help them let the starters get healed up, rested and ready for a strong finish imo.
