These kids and coaches will have to "bust their humps" a little harder this week. Prestonsburg is for real and probably the best team we have played to date.

 

No reason to look ahead in this game. Every game from here on is a championship game.

 

I support the coaches 100%. I just hope they remember that we are a running team and we have Mr. Watkins and Mr. Campbell in the backfield. A pass on 1st down 2 - 3 times a game would be ok to loosen the D up a little.....................

Not surprised Bath Co. made a game of this one. They're a scrappy bunch that play very hard. Look for them to keep improving and be a real tough out over the next couple years.

They're more than a scrappy bunch, if you know what I mean. And grown men, (coaches and refs) watching it happen and just letting it go on. Oh yea, we can't forget about the redneck fans that were screaming for their players to take this and that player out. That type of dirty play will catch up with you sooner or later. I'm glad they will be sitting at the house next week and I hope that I don't see or hear that kind of unsportmanship again.

They tried their best to take out #42, it was obvious. #84 for Bath Co. has no busines on a football field..

 

Are you kidding me?????????? You obviously were not sitting on the same sideline as I was, there was cheap shots between these 2 all night long and the refs would NOT throw a flag either way! I seen the comment earlier that the refs should be banned from any other games and I agree, they let the pushing and shoving go way to far last night, the end of the 3rd qtr on they let the game get totally out of control! This was both ways, not #84. I can tell you if I was Joe Mabry (#84) and I took a cheap shot like he did when he was OUT OF BOUNDS and the play was OVER, they probably would have escorted me off the field because someone is going to get hurt in very few seconds.

On Sports Overtime they said Corbin vs. Pburg is at Pburg. Im almost 100 percent it's at Corbin.

 

Odd and Even years to determine who has home field advantage when you have 2 #1 teams playing each other, that is why it is at P-Burg. Good luck to you guys there, I think Corbin's season is done, Prestonsbirg has to be one of the hardest places in the state to play. If you guys think the Bath Co. fans were rude and nasty last night, you have not heard anything yet.

We have played Prestonsburg for the last 2 years and they are much more physical than Corbin, and they can pass well. Be ready!

I have got to add in some love for the Bath Co. players. By far, this is the most heart and effort that I had seen from this team all year, I do think the Bath Co. players wanted it more than Corbin last night. The score IMO is not justified for as good of a game that it was, games like this are normally 7 point games either way and it comes down to the last play of the game, did not happen that way tonight. Corbin fans, football is a rough sport. If you don't want to see hard hits and rowdy fans, then go play tennis. IMO, the refs did let everything get totally out of hands which did get the crowd fired up, which I must say were louder than Corbin's fan and they were the home team? To the seniors of the Bath Co squad, you guys played your heart out and you did leave it all on the field so you have nothing to hang your head in shame about, Corbin is a great ball team and the cards did not fall your way last night, as a Bath Co. fan I am very proud of the heart you guys showed last night. To the under classmen, I want to go to Papa Johns next year!

Tennis is a good game and we have several players who play it. I do believe we won the game and also we know about football. I will say, if I'm ever at a game and some of our fans start screaming to take out players with cheap shots then I will rebuke them sharply!

You obviously don't know Caleb Watkins. I think you must have gave Joe Mabry some advise, :fight:because that's exactly what he was trying to do. The hit out of bounds you are talking about was probably not called because the Corbin player let up and actually almost came to a stop and just put his hands on his jersey, not a hit at all.

The game is at Corbin go to khsaa.org and you will see Corbin got what they needed a wake up call last night. The 1st team had not played a hole half for over a month in one game.The Hounds will be ready fot what ever Pburg brings and it will be a slopper knocker and should be fun to watch.

I missed the game, but I have never heard Dave King(radio man) complain about officiating until last night. He is as unbiased as they get in his call of the game. They were obviously trying to hurt #42 for Corbin as well as others and someone should have put a stop to it before someone got hurt. You should teach your teams to win with class and to lose with class.:irked:
