Weather had nothing to do with it Bath Co. simply came out for 3 quarters and took it to Corbin. The hounds were very lack luster in their performance and were very lucky to win this ball game. Bath Co was much more physical then Corbin was tonight which is something that you don't see often is Corbin getting out physicaled. If Corbin continues to have stupid penailties, fumbles, interceptions, and dropped passes it will be over next Friday night against Prestonsburg. with all that said we still won the game by a good margin but it wasn't as easy as some would have espected.

Bath County played a good game and was a reason why Corbin didn't look good. They put together some long sustained drives that kept Corbin off the field.

 

I think you've got it. With the gameplan Bath Co. had tonight it would have been hard to put up 50 points against them. They wanted to limit Corbin's possessions, and they actually did a fair job at dictating that. The Corbin kids (at least from my view) played somewhat sloppy tonight, but all are correctible mistakes.

I thought that some of the play calling, late, was horrendous.

I think you've got it. With the gameplan Bath Co. had tonight it would have been hard to put up 50 points against them. They wanted to limit Corbin's possessions, and they actually did a fair job at dictating that. The Corbin kids (at least from my view) played somewhat sloppy tonight, but all are correctible mistakes.

We actually could have and should have scored 3 more TDs. I know fumbles and penalties are gonna happen. But 3 turnovers inside the 10 (one on downs).

I was told Goforth may have broken a leg. Not sure on that, but that was the word.

I agree, there was a lot of bad calls. The offensive pass interference on Sewell was awful. Things did get chippy. I heard some Bath fans yelling for them to "Take out 42", "Take out 34", "#4 is a Punk, they aint gonna call it so get a cheap shot in". That was sad to hear people saying to injure kids. I will say that Corbin was getting a little mouthy too but I didn't see any dirty play from them.

 

They tried their best to take out #42, it was obvious. #84 for Bath Co. has no busines on a football field..

The one play i was confused on was right before halftime. We had 40 seconds, called a timeout. We should have lined up and tried to punch it in from the one yard line. If we don't get it, call the time out and set something up. We called the timeout, had a false start and had to throw. Should have kicked the FG.

I think he broke the tibia and fibula just below the knee.

Really hurts me when kids who really want to play get hurt. What is the line of treatment? Will it heal with a cast or some type of surgery be required?

Exactly.

 

That is the series that we had the ball on the 1 foot line (I do think Taylor actually got in) had 2 fumbled snaps a false start and a dropped (wide open) pass in the end zone on 4th down.

This monday morning quarterback stuff is easy but I thought we would see a long count after the penatly to try and get the 5 yards back down there. Had we done that we could have punched it in .

On Sports Overtime they said Corbin vs. Pburg is at Pburg. Im almost 100 percent it's at Corbin.
