Spencer will keep it close. Not sure if they will win but the game will be closer then most think.

Spencer has a good team but I watched Owen beat them pretty easily at a tournament this year. Maybe it was not their best game but I think Shelby will be a lot better after watching both teams.

 

They have some nice guards also that can get the ball into Marshall.

Anderson didn't play well in that game, IMO. Although the game was only a 10 point win, it never really felt like Oldham could win the game. Friday night should be interesting......

 

Spencer will give Shelby a good game tonight. If Spencer can get the ball to Marshall, Shelby will struggle to keep her from scoring/off the foul line. I expect a spirited effort from Spencer who needs to keep it close. They don't have to win it, but they need to know they can compete with Shelby if they have to play in the first round of the district.

 

 

 

As far as a dark horse candiate goes, I highly doubt anyone other then Anderson or SK represent the 8th in Bowling Green this year. I still think South is a better team then Oldham (even though South just lost to Oldham) so I would probably go with them as the #1 candidate to pull an upset.

I agree, to a point. SK is definitely a full step ahead of anyone else right now...but I don't think Anderson is that far behind. It wouldn't be much of an "upset".

 

Everyone else is still trying to put something together. Lots and lots and lots of YOUTH...lots of questions in Shelbyville, Taylorsville, Crestwood, Buckner, and Carrollton... The scary thing about youth, though, is that you never know when a young team will suddenly "click" and take a BIG step forward.

 

But right now...SK is the clear favorite.
