GT, what are your realistic expectations for them if healthy? Best case worst case?

Bishop spent that much time at PG because SD was playing strictly zone and that presented a best case situation for him. If you see me referring to "Copo" on here, that's Bishop.

Not sure how much longer Mick can keep Dixon out of the starting lineup. He has everything you want in a recruit including the natural ability to play D. He's Vaughn 2.0 in many regards IMO.

Toyloy was the best JUCO big man in the country, and his game will translate very well to the Big East.

I was also impressed with what I saw from Wilks. He's no longer playing SF, and instead now more of a hybrid PF.

I agree with you 100% on Dixon. Icould see him taking some time from Davis this year.

I love Wilk's athleticism and quickness at PF, but is he strong enough to get the job done in the big east? He slightly reminds me of James White who I loved watching fly high!

I expect 17-20 wins and a middle of the pack Big East finish...

Dixon was a noticeable defensive prescence. You could just see a passion on that side of the court as well just watching him on the ball. Always on his toes, feet always moving. These things alone rattled the SD ball handlers.

Wilks was impressive because of his quickness and explosiveness, and that 3 from the top of the key looked good as well, but you could see why Mick struggles with him. He made a couple mistakes where just watching you could tell he was coming out. But him playing that 4 spot is going to cause a lot of problems for Big East teams defending him.

How good was it to see someone go up in traffic and throw down? Been waiting on that since Hicks left. I'm already seeing the battle inside between Blair and Gates when UC plays Pitt. That will be vicious...

The Krogman kid for SD could play a little bit...

You hit on the main difference between Larry and Dion. Davis has a longer stride, and as a result often gets blown right by on the defensive end. If a guy gets a step on Dixon, he's quick to recover because he stays on his toes and keeps his feet moving. Larry is going to have to improve his D, or he won't get much clock.

Just an FYI Kilpatrick has scored roughly 75 points in his first two games at ND Prep...

Dancing?

Dancing?

Thinking they just miss and get a high NIT seed with the return to the dance next season. Hope I'm wrong on that one...

Could quite possibly hinge on success in the BE tourney? Like to see Mick and the boys make it.

No one wants to see this group of guys make it more than me. I was thinking tournament before Cash went down, but with the way the league looks this year I think it might be to big of a mountain to climb...

They may have quite a duo of defenders between Dixon and Bishop...

I hope you're wrong too. The worst thing about the league could also be the best. They'll have a lot of chances to get huge wins.
