I wanted to extend my weekly well wishes to all the Rams and Raceland community.

 

As others have pointed out, it’s not the easiest thing in the world to beat a good team twice in a single season…Fairview is a good team. Even still, these Rams have proven they are not the sort to suffer the trappings of overconfidence.

 

The storybook season continues…keep writing those chapters fellas.

GO RAMS! And thank you for the support from RP, Painter and all the other local guys supporting us. It's great we can support eachother like we do. Well until we play one another.

I better call my dad and make sure his electricity is still on down there in Worthington. Either that or all the clocks down there have quit working.

 

Everything here in Worthington runs on "Daylight Ram Time".

Rams, there have been a couple of Raceland teams in the past that have won 11 games in a season, Raeland has had an unbeaten regular season team, there have been around 18 district championships at Raceland, Raceland has been to several Regional Championship games, Raceland has beaten Russell and Ashland before this before this season.

My point is although you have had a great season thus far, you really haven't done anything that hasn't been done a Raceland before. Should you want to be that team that sets the bar higher it starts tonight! I don't believe that a Raceland football team has ever won 12 games in a season before. That mark you can get with a win over arch rival Fairview tonight and you certainly are ot going to get any other "first" without this one tonight.

For you to set the bar any higher you are first going to have to get this mark (12 wins)tonight. I don't think that you want to be the team that "almost" did things that no other Raceland team in the past has done.....or are you satisfied with that?

 

Lets go out and play Raceland Ram Football and get Win # 12!!!!

 

Then and only then we can talk about the next goal that would be in front of you..............is this season's story "to be continued" or does it end tonight? This is up to you.

Rams - your coach has demanded perfection from you and perfection is what needs to be done tonite 11-0, make it 12-0 tonite.

I'm a Greenup County Musketeer Mom and I'm proud of my Musketeers now tonite is for Raceland - won't be there but I will certainly listen to the game.

I really would love to see you guys win the regional and shut up these Darn Yankees in the Northern part of the state.

I might not get out of work today in time to make it to Belfry so I just wondered what the typical crowd for a Raceland-Fairview playoff game looks like? Is it easy to get seats to watch the game? I know it's probably not easy on the Raceland side but does Fairview bring a lot of fan support? The only game I have ever attended at Raceland was last year's Russell game and it was packed. I had to show up way early to get a seat. Is the same sort of situation expected this evening? Just wondering in case I decide to come see the game.

Ryan, we have normally had a pretty decent crowd at home games this year. Fairview, being so close, will probably have a good size crowd. With the lower temps, there may be a little small crowd, the casual fans may stay home. But with all that said, I would say you would be able to find a seat, there are normally a few scattered out on the home side, a lot of the Raceland fans like to stand or sit in the endzones.

A Raceland/Faiview game is usually very crowded. With this one being an HUGE rival game, not to mention a playoff game as well I would especially look for it to be crowded.

Fairview has had a good season and I would think that the interest is still high there, especially with their win at Campbellsville last week. I would advise you to show up early, maybe not as early as people had to for the Russell game last season but still early. I would say it will be packed.
