Alber had about 140 and Carter had about 225 - from memory and rounded.

150 rushing yards for the team may be difficult this Friday against HHS. Ashland will have to win the line of scrimmage, and I think that will be a pretty tall task

BTW, I tuned into a very little bit of this one on the radio and I must say.....Bartender! I want whatever Dickie Martin is drinking :lol:. That little man was wild tonight.

 

I listened to most of the game as well. Dickie Martin is far and away the best high school radio play-by-play guy I have ever heard. He lets you know exactly what is going on and exactly what he thinks about what is going on all the time! It really makes for an enjoyable broadcast to listen to.

 

A couple of highlights for me from Friday night were when he said something to the effect of "Dominic DeMartino comes from a great family, is a great kid off the field, is a fine student in the classroom, but what really counts is that he's heck of a football player". His call of Rashard Carter's 80-something yard run was a classic as well. I can't begin to quote what he said because you couldn't understand the words due to the sheer excitement in his screaming voice. You could definitely tell what was going on, though. :-)

Congrats to the Cats. Great win. Great gameplan. Now, lets pull the upset next week.

Wasn't Dixie up a couple of TD's in this one? Seems like the same story just a different year!

Dixe was once up in this game by a score of 24-14 before that Tomcats scored the next 21 unanswered.
