I think this will be another close game, but seems like HC is playing the best football in the district entering the playoffs. I wouldn't be suprised by a Ryle win, but I don't expect them to survive this game.

Unfortunately, I think Ryle's season ends this Friday night. It wouldn't surprise me to see them win, but I think HC is just playing better football right now and being at home it's kind of tough to pick against them.

Ryle will win by two touchdowns. The Offense will open up the playbook for the playoffs.

I sure hope you're right. I'd personally like to see Boone and Ryle meet up in the second round.

I think you will get to see a Ryle and Boone County rematch. If that happens look for Ryle to put a stop to BC's running game and win the game. All Boone has is their running game, and Ryle will be ready for Quainoo this time around.

I think HC wont have a problem in this game. Some decisions made by Ryles staff has put them in bad positions this year. Fern Creek put up more than 40 on Ryle and that was a game Ryle was supposed to win. Henry Clay has a group of talented recievers that may very well have a good game against a smaller Ryle secondary. I would be shocked if this one is close.

I hope Ryle wins but I think it will be a close and low scoring game.

I agree. I don't think Ryle has a chance at this one. The coaching has been consistently bad all season so I wouldn't expect them to get smart the last game.

I'm not sure why Ryle's coaching staff is getting ripped so bad. They were the only local team that gave Highlands a game, they lost 3 very close games to decent teams and have a team that always plays hard. That's the sign of good coaching - a team that gives 100%. Now maybe play-calling is not the best, but it continues to improve each week. I'll go on record as saying I'll be shocked if this is not a close game. No way that Hank Clay blows out Ryle in this one. It will probably be a shoot out.

Ryle learned a couple of years ago that the old Boone County mentality of 3-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust may get you to Papa John's, but it won't get you the big trophy. They appear to want to emulate Highlands multi-dimensional offense, and so they gambled during a few games earlier this season in an effort to develop their young offense into a playoff winner. This hasn't always yield a victory, however they have become more consistent and have eliminated most of their rookie mistakes. It appears they can play with anyone and have a chance to prove it Friday night.

Ryle most definitely has a chance. Their offense has improved greatly over the past few weeks. Their defense has been a bit porous lately, but is still solid. They've had a nice season overall, despite having only a 5-5 record to show for it. They gave Highlands the best game they had this year; they could have/should have beaten NCC (lost by 5) ; the Conner game was tight throughout (3 pts.) ; and they lost to a strong Fern Creek team by 1 pt. in OT. While they never really had a chance to win the Boone game, they certainly weren't embarrassed. It'll take a first rate effort by the Raiders to top Henry Clay, but it is certainly doable.
