This one gets ugly early. I agree, no winless team should be in the playoffs, period. The only good thing that's coming out of this is the gate Boyle County receives because of home game. This will probably be minimal, because of the lackluster of such a one sided matchup.

 

I hear this is only the 3rd year Pendleton has even had a football team, and they dress out less than 20 kids. Is this true, does anyone know? I just pray for no injuries to either team. Go Rebels!

I think this is actually Pendleton's sixth season, but the first REALLY bad one. They played several years without being a part of the playoff system, and were scheduled to be a part of the Northern Kentucky AAA before things got reorganized. Before this year, a couple of three win seasons were the worst they'd had. I'm not sure what the problem was this year.

Injuries and other problems along the O-line from what I hear.

 

6th season 3rd different coach, not sure but I think. I know its Teegardens 2nd season but there is no foundation for the program. Its hard to build a program where no youth program existed in a county dominated by Basketball & Soccer. I think coach Teegarden will build a decent program there eventually.

This was Teegarden's 3rd season and he is only the 2nd coach. There is a feeder program that has been around for at least a good 8-9 years in a pee wee/grade school league. IMHO, the problem with the sports program at PC is the lack of experience in the coaching staffs, not only in football either. The coaches are hired get a few years under their belts and leave voluntarily or not. But they have had the same athletic director for what seems like a 100 years.

I think this one has the potential to get really bad. I am hoping the Rebels call off the dogs fairly early to prevent injury for the remainder of thier run for another state championship.
