(3) Bullitt Central is 8-2 with losses to district foes Fern Creek and Male.

 

(2) Madison Central is 8-2 with a close loss to district foe Scott County and a drubbing from Highlands.

I know absolutely nothing about Bullitt Central.....anyone seen them play this year?

Solid team; very well coached (Leasor, the former PRP coach).

 

They have a couple of jets in the backfield...very capable big-play team.

Yet another reason why numerical rankings in football are worthless.

 

I wouldn't say BC has had a tremendous schedule - some of the best teams they've played are in classses below them - but they have played and beaten:

 

North Bullitt - on-again, off-again ranked 4A team with Mr. Football candidate RB and county rival

Bullitt East - perennial tough team and county rival

North Oldham - top 10 ranked 3A team

Anderson County - on-again, off-again ranked 5A team

 

But their only two games against top-tier 6A teams (Male, Fern Creek) both resulted in blowout losses.

 

They scored 21 vs. Male and 26 vs. FC...but gave up 56 and 53, respectively, in those losses.

 

I would peg them more around 20th...just my thought.

 

Madison Central has played a terrific schedule and beaten most of those teams...they have an aggressive, opportunistic defense.
