I believe he's 6'5. The Pawsat boy is pretty tall as well, I think.

I think he is about 6'4", but the point I was trying to make with my earlier post was, we've never had an abundance of players year in and year out 6'7" or better. Usually the teams had 2 to 4 players out of 15 that went maybe 6'3" to 6'5" at best. I can remember plenty of years we had 1 or 2 players at 6'2" or 6'3" at best having to play center.

Here is the height of Elliott's top seven players: Timmy Knipp 6'7" Sophomore, Jon Morgan 6'3" Senior, Jonathan Ferguson 6'2" Senior, Ethan Faulkner 6'1" Senior, Evan Faulkner 6'1" Senior, Chris Knipp 6'1" Senior, and Jared Flannery 5'10" Senior.

 

Others on the roster: Jacob Ison 6'5" Sophomore, Cody Nickels 5'9" Sophomore, and Nick Lewis 5"7" Sophomore.

 

Note: Jacob Ison has height but verdict is out on how much varsity he will play. Ison, Nickels, and Lewis will probably all play Junior Varsity.

 

 

Hopefully these boys will get some 3rd-4th quarter playtime at the varsity level too.

Lewis County has been very small over the years last year the tallest player on their team being 6'3 and this year the starting 5 will prolly be small also the 5 should be 6'6 6'3 6'1 5'11 5'11

I'm sorry but I would have to rule out Elliott County as one of the smallest teams in the state with the best talent. They certainly have great talent. I'm sure however, there are several teams that would like to have their overall team size. I know they're not overly big but they certainly aren't small. Good luck to Elliott County on their run to the Sweet 16.

Pendleton Co's Starting lineup this year will probably be 6'1 6'1 5'11 5'10 5'7 and there pretty solid this year if they shoot the ball well like they did over summer.

Holy Cross won't have a guy over 6'3 in their top six. 6'3, 6'3, 6'2, 6'1, 5'11, 5'11.

Ashland will go 6'4", 5'9", 5'9", 6'2", 6'0"..

McCreary Central is small and has always been.

The Knipp boy is 6'7. But considering he's the only player they have over 6'2 I'd consider them a small team.

 

That would be a nice problem to have and be considered a small team. Try having your tallest player 6'2. Now thats a small team.
