Sure, the heavily Democratic Congress will hold Obama accountable by impeaching him - not. The courts are the only possible way that Obama will ever be forced to prove his eligibility to hold the office.

How did Berg become the attorney for all of this, isn't he the one that wanted Bush arrested after 9/11? Didn't he call for the disbarment of supreme court justices after the 2000 election? He's seems to have a history of trying to make a name for himself and it never goes anywhere.

The guy does seem to crave attention but he is a former assistant AG of Pennsylvania and a strong Hillary Clinton supporter. None of that means that he is wrong about Obama's citizenship status. I don't believe that Berg has taken the position that Obama is not a natural born citizen. His position is that given the apparently bogus birth certificate posted by Daily Kos and then re-posted on Obama's web site and Obama's paternal grandmother's claim that she attended Obama's birth in Nairobi that Obama should be compelled to prove that he is eligible to become president before the election.

I understand what you're saying. It just seems that if this were as big of a deal as it's being made out to be that there would be an attorney working it who is a little less eccentric and over the top. His presence seems a little fishy to me but I could be wrong. I really don't have an opinion on the matter, I just don't understand why Obama won't prove his citizenship so we can all move on to more important matters.

There is no religious litmus test for the presidency - if people want to vote for a man who immersed himself in the brand of marxism known as black liberation theology for 20 years, then that is their right as American citizens.

 

However, there is constitutional requirement that people serving as president meet the definition of a natural born citizen. Voters have a right to know that the candidates running for the presidency meet the basic constitutional requirements of the presidency. There is nothing unreasonable about demanding that Obama prove that he is qualified to serve before tens of millions of Americans cast their ballots.

No he does not. Only conspiracy nuts thinks he was born somewhere other than where he was. If Berg has facts and info., he should expose it. Even the courts say it was based on rumor. It is silly and 90% of the people know that it is silly. The burden of proof is on the accuser, and he has nothing.

From watching this play out, whose responsibility is it to make sure that candidate DOES meet all the requirements?

 

Is it the party's?

Is it each individual states responsibility?

Is it Congress, Senate, House?

National Attorney General?

 

Who is responsible for making sure that they meet all the requirements?

 

If it is the state level, did McCain and Obama supply a birth ceritificate to 50 different states?

Right to privacy is a right completely made up by our supreme court to further at the time a liberal agenda. It's no where in the Constitution and when you have to imply things from the constitution to me thats the same as saying they were made up.

The burden of proof in a civil case is on the plaintiff but the burden to obtain a trial on an issue of fact is not the same as winning such a trial. I do not know the specifics about the other trials but Berg has cast enough doubt on Obama's eligibility that the judge should have allowed discovery to proceed.

 

What is nuts is Obamunists insisting that Obama should not prove that his grandmother is lying and that he is eligible to be president, as McCain has done voluntarily.
