October 28, 200817 yr Great game! Changing of the guard again! Statement game for the Titans. Shocked how much they threw the ball. Indy will make the playoffs IMO because the Oline looked much better. Titans are the real deal! I've said it for years Fisher is one of if not the best in the NFL!

I think they are the real deal, but not sure they are the best in the AFC just yet.
October 28, 200817 yr Author Right now they are the best but it is a long season! I'm still not totally sold if they get down a couple of scores their passing game can bring them back. They have a GREAT defense, Great line on both sides of the ball and can RUN THE ROCK! Their passing game is still questionable but I was suprised how much they threw the ball tonight.
October 28, 200817 yr I think they are the real deal, but not sure they are the best in the AFC just yet. Im just wondering on who you think is the better team?

October 28, 200817 yr Fisher is the best! :ylsuper: Jeff Fisher is the man! I love how the Titans D didnt give up and forced Manning to go 4 and out twice! Chris Johnson can move when he turns it up the field... He's super fast! I'm also thrilled that Steve Mcnair, Eddie George, and my personal favorite Frank Wycheck got honored tonight! Since these guys left, the Titans haven't had a great season until this season. Hopefully these new guys will keep it up! :thumb::thumb:

But, this is the first time since '03 that they've had a real shot at the Super Bowl.
October 28, 200817 yr Here's to a couple more fun years of the "Manning face" until he slithers away into the sands of time.
October 28, 200817 yr I think they are the real deal, but not sure they are the best in the AFC just yet. As of now they are. But, being the best team at the end of October ain't worth a whole lot. If the Titans passing game can complement the rushing attack the way they have thus far, I like their chances. I think the next four weeks should help us gauge the Titans a little better when they play Green Bay, @ Chicago, @ Jacksonville, and the Jets. Starting last night with Indy, that's the toughest 5 game stretch on their schedule. I definitely don't want to see them lose, but I do want to see them get tested by tougher competition to see how they respond. The best thing about last night is that they won without Vanden Bosch. I've been pretty impressed with their defensive line even without him. I think that bodes well for the stretch run, assuming he gets healthy.

Indeed... They were not a bad team last year. I personally think they were in the last phase of their "rebuilding". Now they've got the backfield personnel, and suprisingly a QB that knows what he's doing! At this point, give me Collins before Young anyday! I'm not writing off Young... But I see no point to use him at this current time. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Their chances of winning the Super Bowl are as good as anyone's and better than most with Collins...with Young that's not the case. I'm just hoping Vince can learn a lot from this experience and actually be ready to lead this team when his time comes again. But, I suspect his chances are running out. If he blows it next time, the Titans need to find a long term replacement.

It's a shame to see him completely break down the way he has.
