True. Mayfield did lose to Fulton in the regular season last year! I still don't think Mayfield will go easy in the playoffs. I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see them at Beechwood for the state semifinals.

Cards looked better and did what they needed to do...scored on all 5 times they touched the ball in the 1st half and one INT return for a touchdown. First half Luke Guhy 7-7 227yds and 3 TD's. Granted Fulton City is down this year after the last couple of years...but Mayfield did what they needed to do and now can hopefully focus on getting better before playoff time.

They need to win a game their not heavily favored like Marshall or Caldwell or both. The Cards have underachieved all season.

I agree, underachieved all season, the offense is really good when it works. Defense has probably played better than offense this year, the offense seems to get its head down when they go 3 and out in games.

Now that's a Mayfield score I like seeing...GO Cards...
