Bishop Brossart 2008/2009

No doubt which is why this district needs to be broken up. Move Campbell to Pendletons district.

Why don't Scott go back to where it came from...the 9th region!!! :D

I think Scott likes the 10th region no matter where it is played at!

Why do you want Scott to go back to the 9th region? Taking away from either Brossart or Campbell going to the regional tourney are they? Cause i know Scott has been to the regional tourney every year since the switch and has ended either Campbell or Brossarts season. You must either be from Campbell or Brossart and are upset one or the other isn't going to make it.:fire:

Wow...great detective work! No, actually...I like your previous scenario...Campbell goes to Pendleton,Deming, etc District and Brossart/Scott battle it out for the 37th crown. That would make for a potentially solid regional tourney:thumb: How many years has BBHS made it to the regional since entering the 10th?

Brossart came to the 10th for the 1996-97 season and have made 8 appearances in the 10th Region Tournament in the 12 seasons that we have been there. We were upset by Campbell County in 1998-99 in the district; by Bracken County in the 2003-04 districts; beaten by Pendleton County, the eventual region champs in the opening round of the district tournament in 2004-05; and we lost to Scott on a last second shot in the districts last season.

Previous to the 2005-06 season we were members of the 38th District (Bracken Co, Pendleton County, Campbell Co, Silver Grove, and Brossart) and since the 2005-06 season part of the 37th District (Brossart, Scott, Campell Co, Calvary Christian, and Silver Grove).

We won the district in 1997,1998,2000,2003,2006, and 2007.

We were 10th Region Runners-up in 1998 and 10th Region Champs in 2000.

37th District will be very competitive no matter what. Brossart could surprise some folks. They may not have the household names like other programs but they play well as a team and are very well coached.

Nobody should overlook them this year and that goes for the big schools as well that have them on their plate.

I know no one in the 10th will overlook Brossart, to well coach to do so. They are always a scary team to play in March. Defense keeps them in a lot of games, even if they aren't supposed to be in them.

Good luck Stangs

Since moving to the Maysville area a couple years ago, I have always enjoyed watching Brossart play.

You knew they would struggle early last year because of all the graduating seniors, but you also knew that because of the man on the bench, they would be a big time threat in March. They are going to be a tough team this year and will be a tough out come tournament time.

You gotta love a team that goes all out, every night and continues to improve as the year goes on.

They have a great system and just keep plugging in holes each year
