It is a little tougher to call than most here think, IMO. Evans has been playing very well lately. I don't think you can go wrong either way...but if you think there is any chance of LT returning to his old form...you have to take the deal.

This is what I thought too... If you get past the names and look at the numbers its a tougher call...

The TD heavy scoring system and no points until 100 yards only makes LT more attractive. Take this deal. If LT even gets close to his upside he's way more valuable than Evans and Lewis. If you pass on this deal, it won't be long before you regret it.

The Chargers have faced two cross-country games (Miami and Buffalo) and now they have to travel overseas to play New Orleans. After that, the schedule turns favorable and 4 of the next 5 are homes games...

New Orleans (London?)

Kansas City

@ Pittsburgh

Indy

Atlanta

Oakland

@ KC

@ Tampa

Denver

I'd be willing to take my chances that LT can get it going in that stretch. There are several favorable matchups. The only two tough games are Pitt and Tampa. He gets KC twice...and they're giving up over 200 yards per game and have allowed two teams to go over 300. Denver can't stop the run. Indy can't stop the run. Thomas Jones ripped off 159 yards against Oakland.

Take the deal. There's always a chance it may not work out, but the upside with LT is too much to pass up for the price you're paying.

I have LT and either Ryan Grant or Earnest Graham sit every week.

You can't bench a guy like that. That's like me...I have Steven Jackson, so this week I briefly toyed with benching him in favor of Steve Slaton (vs. Detroit), but ultimately, Jackson is a stud, and one of those guys who are capable of giving you the #'s against anybody.

Ahman Green needs to go away though...Slaton gives me great depth as long as Green doesn't take his carries away.

I've got Thomas Jones playing the Chiefs this week, so I have another tough decisions.

I was ready to take it until today, it occured to me how Evans has scored much more lately than LT...

I will once again reitterate what I have told other fellow Lee Evans owners (Evans ends up in more trade discussions than anyone else in the league it seems like).

Remember where Evans plays at... BUFFALO. It is about to get cold there, and in a hurry. Evans is a monster when it is warm weather and he can get deep. But notice how many receptions he actually has,,, not very many. His entire game depends on the deep ball and when it gets 0 degrees with wind and snow everywhere, Trent Edwards will not be able to get the ball to him on those deep routes.

Evans has been awesome thusfar, but never forget he is at best a #2 receiver for your fantasy team.

Would he accept Evans and Chester Taylor instead? The Browns ineptness at passing and Lewis' red-zone ability makes me leary of getting rid of him if you have the option to get rid of a glorified backup RB.

Its a scoring system based heavily on TD's. Yardage isn't rewarded until 100 yard games.

There are 12 teams, each team has 15 players, so there aren't a lot of quality players on the waiver wire...

Current RB's:

M. Jones Drew

J. Lewis

C. Taylor

D. Rhodes

Current WR/TE's:

L. Evans

S. Moss

D. Hester

D. Jackson

R. Meachem

K. Winslow

With Romo out I'm having to start Delhomme...

I voted for you to take LT. . But Lee Evans does have that big play ability, and will break 100 yards more frequently than most other receivers.

But I have never been in a league like that so I am not too sure on how they play out every week.

No...

Keep in mind in the past 3 weeks LT has averaged 2.9, 3.7, and 2.9 ypc with 35, 74, and 41 yards. No TD's....

You have to think UB. LT is playing with Antonio Gates (Best TE IMO), Phillip Rivers, Vincent Jackson and Chris Chambers. He isn't going to get 100 yd games every game. HE will be a beast when you need him most, At the end of the season. Take him!!!:thumb:
