Well I really never post in this forum but this caught my eye.

 

For someone to say I'm not a Christian because I vote a certain way is laughable and out and out ridiculous.

 

Hounds, you pointed out that homosexuals shouldn't be aloud to adopt, but would you rather them be orphans with no parents, or suffer through abusive parents or pedophile parents that get through the system and adopt. You are wrong.

 

You have no right in judging anyone on these threads on what they do or don't do, and you especially don't have the right to say we are not Christians nor do we follow the lord if we vote for Obama.

 

Maybe you are the one deceived into believing all of these things against Obama, show us proof that he is for infanticide?

Yes, adultery is sin and it causes a lot of problems, but adultery can be forgiven just like any other sin. If McCain was a womanizer like Bill Clinton and continued in adulterous affairs then I would say, yes that would rule him out.

 

That is altogether different than being a member of a church for 20 years that preached hate and racism like J.Wright did in his church of which Obama was a member.(see post #102) Thats also different than continuing to support the abortion movement. Yes, I believe strongly that abortion is wrong, but I also believe anyone who has had an abortion can be forgiven, just like anyone who has commited adultery can be forgiven. And yet, if someone never sees the wrong in their sin then, they will never repent of it and therefore it is my conclusion that those who support abortion have never seen the wrong in it.

 

Unless I am mistaken, any sex out of wedlock is against God's teachings, whether a baby is the result or not. Therefore, someone that has sex out of wedlock and chooses to have the baby, is still sinning.

Sounds good...Well I believe 100% that when I vote for Obama and when that following Sunday arrives I will still be a Christian and accepted into my church just as everyone else. Because we are not supposed to judge other people, and that's the way it should stay!

I like free speech, but this reminds me of a quote my grandmother used to say:

 

"Just because you CAN talk doesn't mean that you SHOULD."

By the way, if you want your tax dollars to be used to suck the brains out of a babies head then thats your choice, but I should also have a choice to say that I don't want my tax dollars used that way. :thumb:
