"If" this and "If" that as well as some of the usual references to Ohio State and other teams is typical. This thread was Penn State vs. Michigan and the fact that the school up North got their butts kicked...................again :D.

Seems that Michigan fans would rather post on and about other teams these days.......:sssh:. I love it!

If they all go unbeaten then it should be Texas and Bama..

I can understand why everyone doesn't want another Big 10 team in the NC, but just because of what has happened to OSU the past 2 years that shouldn't hurt Penn State..

It should matter. Study history to learn from your mistakes. Hopefully that is accounted for in the BCS equation.

Well lets look at what they done to those "weak" teams, they beat them by a combined score of 84-45..

Now, how about those BIG SEC guys? Alabama, ranked ahead of PSU, beat Ole Miss 24-20, and Kentucky 17-14. How about Florida losing to Ole Miss? And please don't give me that, well they are in the SEC junk, it's getting old. The point is Penn State has handled every single one of their opponents, they are yet to let off the gas. Penn State is on the same level as Alabama, and Florida, trust me. I don't believe Goodell has contacted either to see if they wanted to join the NFL..

Nice comment! :thumb: We are finding out that there are only about 4 really tough SEC teams, the SEC fans want everyone to believe that they have 10 or 12 top teams and this is NOT the fact!

Way to early to be speculating on the National Championship game. Way to many things can happen in the next few weeks. Remember last year 2 teams played there was out of the Championship game the final week (WVU and Missouri)!

:thumb::thumb: You are 100% correct Oldrambler.

Penn State is clicking this season - Coach Joe knows.

PSU plays the way they did in the first half against a decent team, and they walk out with a loss.....Michigan should have been up by 21 and kept making boneheaded decisions.

Penn State is the Ohio State of the past two years....Name me one good team they've beaten...

Penn State is the best team in the Nation.

Penn State is the best team in the Nation.

They are #2 or #3 imo, the #1 spot belongs to Texas.

Penn State is the best team in the Nation.

That might just be the funniest thing I've ever heard on here....

Your hate for Penn State and the Big 10 is amazing..

It's funny for a team, who has beat every team they have played to death and is ranked in the top 3 in the country in every poll, to be the best team in the country. Sure they may not be, IMO Texas is, but they are pretty darn close.

I guess it depends on what your definition of close is...

They are close to being the best team in the country..

This weekend will show how tough both teams are, IMO Ohio State is still a top 8 team in the nation when playing like they did yesterday. Now playing like they did at USC, and against Ohio is another team and another story..

I will tell you what else is amazing, and that is you trying to defend Penn State and the Big 10 in every thread. Look, the Big 10 has been embarrassed the last two years on the biggest stage of college football. Until they have a team that proves they are legit, we can bash the conference all we want. Win a big game when it counts and I will give them credit. Until then, all the bashing of the Big Ten that goes on is acceptable.

If PSU beats OSU then there can be discussion of them being one of the best in the nation.

Until then it is all premature.
