October 15, 200817 yr He has never had a QB like Romo, or much of a running game. What are you talking about, he's had plenty of QB's that can't win in the playoffs.
October 15, 200817 yr BTW, the Cowboys gave Williams a new deal worth NINE MILLION PER SEASON. Wow...
October 15, 200817 yr Aren't the Boys kind of hurting at corner right now? Maybe TO can go both ways:lol:
October 16, 200817 yr Everyones writing the boys off, but this movie only indicates IMO that everything may be alright. The record right now is just 4-2. Say if the boys do drop every game with Romo/Jones out, then their still 4-6.....That still give room to lose one more game with almost everyone back at full strength strength. Okay, another scenario. With Barber, Witten, and TO and now Williams around. I am sure Brad Johnson will get the ball spread around. One of the biggest vets in the game. The defense is without Newman and Pacman, but they have their number one draft pick Mike Jenkins in the bullpen who can at least maybe bridge part of the gap. So say they can win at least two games which is easily possible. Thus that equal Cowboys still being 6-4 with then everyone getting to come back, and I'm talking Newman, Romo, Pacman, then right around the same time, Felix Jones. So all I am trying to say is that if they can at least just be mediocre until everyone gets back healthy, then watch out again. And with all that even said, worst player to lose for the Cowboys at the moment is McBriar. Not a lot mentioned out of his injury, but guys is one of the best punters in the league and keeps the field position game in the favor of Dallas at most times.
October 16, 200817 yr Detriot cleaned up with this deal IMO. They know they won't be in contention of the playoffs this year so they're turning to the future. They still have Calvin Johnson to build around with all of these newly inherited draft picks.
