Obama's position does not affect my position. It only affects whether or not he will get my vote. I know it isn't you, but there are many people who will adjust their position if the politician they aren't voting for, or from the other party, happens to coincide with their beliefs.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't think of anyone in my life that I disagree with 100% of the time. :confused: Just because one generally disagrees with another on most things, doesn't mean there's absolutely no common ground whatsoever. Some of these replies here are really puzzling to me, as well as troubling. If posters are serious about being upset that there may be points on which they agree with Obama, it is indicative of a partisanship not only in our leadership, but in our citizenship.

Lighten up, dude! The survey is obviously more of a push poll designed to demonstrate to Obama supporters that they probably disagree with many of Obama's stated positions than it is a serious attempt to match potential voters to a candidate. I am sure that I would agree with Obama on many issues and that is why questions designed to identify where I might agree with Obama do not appear in the survey. There was only one question where I was not 100% certain that my answer would not match Obama's response. I could write a survey that would result in most conservatives agreeing with Obama on most questions. BHO has been on both sides of so many issues that it would be a pretty easy survey to write.
