I thought this had been reported on the news otherwise I would've mentioned it. He opened fire on them when they first arrived, perhaps because he didn't want them trying to stop him before he was done. They went in once the gun fire had stopped, which is really crazy and intense when you think about it. I'd also heard they found a bullet lodged in one of the neighbors houses.
